  • We approach CEO development very differently in four specific ways – firstly, we specialise in the people development aspect of leadership which is often a small part of leadership development yet the one that trips leaders up the most. Our approach enables you to develop the whole person, including their soft skills and nuanced issues that hold senior people back rather than functional skills – these are the capabilities required to develop senior talent.

    Secondly, we focus on emotional navigation and development as it is the complexity and avoidance of emotions that halts most people development, and also the most powerful when harnessed.

    Thirdly we give you the skills to foster deep confidence in your people: it is their confidence that creates a foundation for significant and sustainable growth that doesn’t result in burn-out.

    Finally, we recognise that intentional people development will expose the CEOs own development edges – and we intentionally flush these out so you can liberate what is holding you back. Your people won’t be the only ones that grow as a result of The Unmanaged Method™!

  • We say “attention elevates, investment delegates.” Many CEOs will send their leaders for coaching or put them on a leadership development program, and whilst this will deliver benefits, the greater opportunity is for the CEO to learn how to use their attention to grow their people very simply through every interaction they have with them – momentum that multiplies.     The program is intended to create space by freeing you from operational issues and firefighting so you can focus on vision, strategy and leadership (after all, that is your role).  

    Our approach does not take more time – it requires a re-orientation of your attention and the role you play in conversations. As you learn this, preparation may take up to an hour a week. The coaching calls are one hour per week, supported by short video frameworks to understand as you develop each of the core competencies.
